That I allowed myself to have pleasure with coffee, a book, and a beach. Many people call it the ‘luxury’ of enjoying yourself but to me it’s firmly a daily FUNdemental. Basic bliss is where it’s at.
My friends and I baked for two hours at 11pm and messed up so much and threw cookie dough at each other ad made inedible creations along with the edible ones. It was a night to remember! We laughed so much!

I went to a movie downtown with my friends. We got lost, had tons of fun and laughs on the way there. Then me and my boyfriend were leaning on each other and holding hands for the first time during the movie and the entire half hour ride home. Then he gave me the longest hug ever before he left. Best night I’ve had in a long time 🙂

I escaped “home” before fall break was over and settled back in to the home of the dorms.

Yesterday I got black out drunk and called my brother whom I have fought with frequently most of our lives. I told him at length how much I love him and how much he means to me. I told him that he made me proud.

The best thing was learning to listen to my body and not just my determination. It has limitations my brain does not.
