  3. ra:

“hee, who are you again? “

  4. Brian:

It used to offend me.. now nothing. you are not me. you do’t know me

  5. Dems:

Any loving words that come from my mouth! These kind of actions and statement come from deep hurt! Love is what they need. Not more hatred!

  6. talia:

absolutely nothing. there is enough hate and bitterness. I prefer not to add negative thoughts to the universe.

  7. Unbelievaburgers:

    Fuck you, Dad!

And don’t you forget for a second how lax Virginia’s gun laws are. Just sayin’. It’s just an interesting fact I’m bringing up for no particular reason whatsoever.

  8. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard parents say that it breaks their heart to hear their kids say they hate them. Maybe I’m a little callous but I decided long before my kids started talking that when (and I knew they would) they said that to me, I would respond “You’ll get over it.” I never responded with any anger or hurt, just that sentence matter of factly. My youngest was the worst offender insomuch that he would say “I hate you and I won’t get over it!”

    They are 15, 13 & 10 now and don’t say it anymore.

  9. Natalie:

    a big, warm smile

  10. Vicki Lynn:

    I would say . . .
“Oh, you’ll get over it. I already have!”

  11. jayzell:

    “Get of and MILK it!”

  12. jayzell:

    * OFF

  13. Susana:

I’m sorry to make you feel that way… Hope you get better in time and (quietly, calmly I will walk away)…

  14. Heather:

    chuckle and walk off.

  15. Ellie:

That I’m sorry for them to be able to feel hate towards someone, because I’d never intentionally do something to make them hate me…

  16. Jamie:

“Good for you.” My theory is that if I have pissed someone off enough to hate me, than I have done something to challenge them…we all need to be challenged in life. It makes us re-examine who we are, what we believe, and what we value. I am usually glad I could be the catalyst for a person to do that.

  17. garfield:

You hate me? Lol. (yes, I ACTUALLY say lol IRL)

  18. msgemini:

well sorrrrrrrrrrrrrryyy im the darkness in your life.. jeez

  19. jasmine:

    why

  20. Nic:

Smile and say, “I’m sorry you feel that way.” It’s often quite entertaining to watch them try to work out how to respond.

  21. Hannah:

ignore what they said, and feel sorry for them being such an unhappy person

  22. Sally:

    Karma is a wonderful thing!

  23. BubblesQ:

I dont care. I dont know you and you dont know me. What you see is what you get.
