I can’t pick a favorite. They’re all really good memories, but none stick out particularly.
m:
sleeping all day.. my first time at the beach.
Mazl:
..when I was little….. running down to the waves at the beach as fast as I could as the sand was sooo hot…… then a picnic lunch with the family, then, after an hour, (so our lunch could ‘go down’ and we wouldn’t sink!), more swimming in the roughest surf imaginable. We would all eventually arrive home so sunburnt, we rivalled lobsters. The next day we kids were all subjected to raw tomatoes being rubbed over our red raw skin to ease the pain…… stupid? I reckon…. and we never ever questioned our mother’s logic..
When the burnt skin all peeled off – off we would head to the beach again…. and again- all summer.
But it was such fun!
(Just don’t ask about the skin we live in today)
Debi:
Going to the beach or eating watermelon on the porch.
AdamOdes:
Surfing all day, camping at night, bonfires and girls.
Alan Eatough:
My childhood holidays spent with my family at Cliftonville, Kent, UK. Sun-filled days on the beach making sandcastles, paddling, swimming and making friends. I wanted those times to go on forever…..
Rachael:
Spending five weeks with my Great Aunt and Uncle who I only see once a year.
Jenny:
Summers at the shore and having the neighborhood kids always at our house by the pool!
Emma:
getting really drunk for the first time ever, and having the cute boy i worked with give me a ride home, and a good-night kiss
Annabelle:
Last summer a group of my friends just hanging out everyday of the summer whether it’s sleeping at my house, chillin at the beach, goin to parties at night. Some of the best times I’ve ever had
Unbelievaburgers:
Dressing like a jackass and vigorously masturbating while neck-deep in the pool
The one that’s happening right now. My son is visiting. I’m so glad he’s here, and I’m making sure he knows it
The ice cream truck. My heart still jumps with exhilaration at the sound of “The Entertainer”.
